ABOUT REVA

Reva Stachniw

Reva is the clinical coordinator at Midwest Orthopedic Services and has a history of sixteen years of service. She serves many functions. She has developed a unique patient education program for patients undergoing total hip and total knee replacement. She helps Dr. Stachniw conduct clinical trials for several joint prostheses, including hip resurfacing. Other responsibilities include being the clinical coordinator for several phase III and phase IV pharmaceutical trials for which Dr. Stachniw is a principal investigator.

Reva is a 1972 graduate of the Lutheran Hospital school of Nursing in Moline, Illinois. She has had extensive experience in clinical nursing, including working in a cardiac intensive care unit. Before joining Dr. Stachniw, Reva was a nursing supervisor with OSF healthcare systems, and had been named Employee of the Year.

She is one of five sisters raised on a farm. Reva has three children, a daughter who is a school teacher, and two sons who farm. Reva is a proud grandmother, who enjoys babysitting whenever possible.
